Welcome to the Journal of Health (JOHE).

Welcomes the submission of original, high-quality manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of nursing science, health education, public health, midwifery, allied health sciences, and interdisciplinary healthcare research.
JOHE publishes original research articles, systematic reviews, literature reviews, meta-analyses, short communications, case reports (if applicable), community service reports, editorials, and letters to the editor. Priority is given to original research articles with scientific novelty and significant contributions to healthcare practice, education, and policy.
All submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal.
BEFORE SUBMISSION
Before submitting your manuscript, please ensure that:
- The manuscript fits the aims and scope of JOHE.
- The manuscript has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
- All authors have approved the submitted version.
- Ethical approval has been obtained where applicable.
- The manuscript follows the JOHE manuscript template.
- The manuscript has been checked for grammar and language quality.
- References follow the Vancouver Citation Style.
- The similarity index complies with the journal policy.
Failure to comply with these requirements may result in immediate rejection.
MANUSCRIPT FORMAT
Authors should prepare manuscripts using Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx).
The manuscript should follow the following formatting requirements:
Paper size: A4 (210 × 297 mm)
Margins:
- Top: 2.5 cm
- Bottom: 2.5 cm
- Left: 2.5 cm
- Right: 2.5 cm
Font: Times New Roman
Font size: 12 pt
Line spacing: 1.5
Paragraph alignment: Justified
First line indentation: 1.27 cm
Layout: Single column
Page numbering: Bottom center or bottom right
Language: English
Do not use page borders, headers, footers, text boxes, or unnecessary formatting.
MANUSCRIPT LENGTH
Original Research Articles should contain approximately 4,000–7,000 words, excluding references, tables, and figures.
Abstract: 200–250 words
Keywords: 3–5 keywords
References: Minimum 20 references.
At least 80% of references should be journal articles published within the last five years.

The title should clearly reflect the content of the manuscript.

Separate keywords using semicolons (;).

INTRODUCTION
The introduction should include:

Recent references published within the last five years are strongly encouraged.

Ethical approval
The ethics approval number must be stated.
RESULTS
Present findings objectively.
Include:
Participant characteristics

Inferential analysis

Figures
Do not discuss the findings in this section.
DISCUSSION
Interpret the findings.
Compare with previous studies.
Explain possible mechanisms.
Discuss clinical implications.
Discuss strengths and limitations.
Avoid repeating numerical data already presented in the Results section.
CONCLUSION
Summarize the major findings.
Provide practical implications.
Include recommendations for future research.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
Optional.
Mention contributors who do not meet the criteria for authorship.
FUNDING STATEMENT
State all funding sources.
If there is no funding, write:
"This research received no external funding."
CONFLICT OF INTEREST
All authors must declare any potential conflicts of interest.
If none, write:
"The authors declare no conflict of interest."
AUTHOR CONTRIBUTIONS
Authors are encouraged to describe individual contributions using the CRediT taxonomy.
REFERENCES
JOHE uses the Vancouver Citation Style.
Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, EndNote, or Zotero.
Requirements:
Minimum 20 references.
At least 80% should be journal articles.
Most references should be published within the last five years.
Include DOI whenever available.
TABLES
Tables should be numbered consecutively.
Place the title above the table.
Use editable tables only.
Do not submit tables as images.

FIGURES
Figures should be numbered consecutively.
Place the caption below the figure.
Minimum resolution: 300 dpi.
Acceptable formats include JPEG, PNG, TIFF, or editable graphics.
All figures must be cited in the manuscript.
STATISTICAL REPORTING
Authors should report:
The statistical test used.
Test statistic.
P-value.
Confidence interval (if applicable).
Effect size (if appropriate).
Example:
Chi-square analysis demonstrated a significant association (χ² = 12.65, p = 0.001).
ETHICAL CONSIDERATIONS
Research involving human participants must include:
Name of the ethics committee.
Ethics approval number.
Statement regarding informed consent.
Confidentiality statement.
Clinical trials should include the registration number.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) POLICY
Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or Microsoft Copilot may only be used to improve language quality or manuscript organization.
AI tools must not be listed as authors.
Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of their manuscripts.
If AI tools have been used, this should be disclosed appropriately in the manuscript.
PLAGIARISM POLICY
All manuscripts will be screened using plagiarism detection software.
The overall similarity index should not exceed 20%, excluding references and standard methodological descriptions.
Manuscripts with excessive similarity may be rejected before peer review.

JOHE uses a Double-Blind Peer Review process.

PUBLICATION ETHICS
JOHE follows the ethical standards established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).
Authors, editors, and reviewers are expected to maintain the highest standards of research integrity throughout the publication process.

ONLINE SUBMISSION
Manuscripts must be submitted through the JOHE Online Journal System (OJS).
Submission steps:

- Complete the manuscript metadata.
- Upload supplementary files (if applicable).
- Confirm the submission.
